Japanese scientists finished the project of creating a new type of pillow, capable of giving advice for healthy and tranquil sleep to Japanese, who are famous with their sleeping problems.

The pillow which is called "A doctor for a sleep" analyses the habits of the sleeping person and could give 40 different advices for a better sleep on its small screen.

Japanese suffer from insomnia and the insufficient sleep reached the highest levels in the whole world. This phenomenon is because of the long days of work and over fatigue, which most of the workers in the country experience. According to a recent research, the insomnia costs 24 billion euro to the Japanese economic, mainly because of a drop in the productivity of the workers.

The new pillow, which is expected to improve the sleep of the Japanese, has detectors which could catch the movements of the head and the body, in order to calculate the hours of good sleep n the night.

The invention could also record the habits of the sleeping for 2 weeks and to understand whether they are good, and if they are not, it could try to improve them. It is expected that the pillow-adviser will start to be sold in September in Japan and abroad, including Asia and the USA.
