Laptop DELL exploded in the middle of a conference in Japan. A witness said that the machine went off then bursted into fire and a lot of small explosions were heard during the next five minutes.
The witness also shared that it is just a matter of time one of those explode in an airplane. There are also photos of this accident:

Still there is no further information considering this matter but it is highly recommended that you avoid putting it in your lap.
