It sounds a bit crazy, but it is already a fact. We could operate with our computer with the help of our mind. All we need is a special electronic hat, which was created recently by the Austrian Peter Bruper and presented for the first time in Paris.

The hat itself is consists of 20 electrodes, which capture the signals of our brains, transform them into numbers and send them to the computer. Just imagine sitting on the chair with this small hat on your head, you think what your computer should do and within seconds it’s already done… without a mousewithout a keyboardwithout voice. The best thing is that this device would ease the lives of the fully disabled people, as no physical efforts are needed. Also the time needed to accomplish a certain operation would decrease a lot.

Sounds like a good implementation of ANN to me. It's a nice idea but maybe it's too far in the future when this could be used by everyone.

interesting but maybe only one of these thousands of "odd tech news" popping up around. You have to give more details.
